Clean Energy and Green Buildings Subcommittee
Reviews the established policies and procedures, ordinances, programs, and metrics and provides input and feedback in service of advancing progress toward the city’s sustainability goals, namely for the entire city to operate on renewable energy by 2050.
The Clean Energy and Green Buildings Subcommittee must consist of representatives from the following sectors:
- Commercial / Office
- Hospitality
- Retail
- Multifamily/Residential
- Health care and hospitals
- Warehouse
In addition, as of 2023, the city has established new terms and will ensure representation includes City of Orlando residents from diverse neighborhoods and backgrounds to provide perspective as building users and occupants with lived experience.
You must be a City of Orlando resident, nonprofit leader, leadership association member, building manager or business owner.
Members serving as residents must live within the City of Orlando. Members representing an organization must provide services within the City of Orlando; it is preferred they are a resident but not required.
