Princeton Street Complete Streets Proposal

Building on the city’s commitment to improve neighborhood infrastructure, the City of Orlando is leveraging the private development of the Packing District to invest in roadway improvements and infrastructure to support planned recreational enhancements as well as the adjacent mixed-use development.

The proposed redesign of Princeton Street (S.R. 438) from John Young Parkway (S.R. 423) to Orange Blossom Trail (U.S. 441) incorporates 'Complete Streets' improvements that will result in a more walkable community street and provide safer access for all modes of travel.

The recommended improvements on Princeton Street include:

  • a four-lane divided roadway with a raised median
  • on-street parking
  • six-foot-wide sidewalks
  • 10-foot-wide separated bicycle lanes
