Request a Home Security Assessment

The Orlando Police Department offers free residential security assessments to its residents to educate homeowners on possible security measures.

The Citizen Observer Program (C.O.P) is comprised of volunteers who help police by patrolling neighborhoods, shopping malls and school zones. Their main purpose is to report suspicious activities, persons and vehicles. C.O.P. members have no law enforcement authority and carry no weapons.

False Alarm Reduction Program

The City of Orlando Alarm Ordinance was implemented in 1999 to address the growing number of false alarm activations. The Ordinance requires all active alarm systems to be registered with the Orlando Police Department.
