Promoting and conducting operations and events to recognize the services of veterans who reside in the City of Orlando and surrounding area and to offer assistance as may be needed.

Orlando Main Streets

The Orlando Main Streets solicits and accepts funds through memberships, sponsorships, events and other efforts, allowing the twelve Orlando Main Streets Districts to come together to network and learn strategies and practices for revitalization of their communities with the ultimate goal of benefitting the overall health of the City’s neighborhoods.

Orlando Mayor’s Martin Luther King, Jr. Commission

Celebrating Dr. King’s legacy of equality, justice, freedom, peace and harmony for all races and cultures in Greater Orlando by distributing funds to non-profit organizations and groups.

Women’s History Month

Women’s History Month Project solicits & accepts funds to be used to provide women of the community with resources, educational events and networking opportunities through Women's History Month events. During March, Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer, City Commissioners and the City of Orlando celebrate Women’s History Month by highlighting the lasting contributions and positive influence women have made.
