Are you opening a business in the City of Orlando?
You must pay a tax to operate any business within city limits. A business tax receipt is proof of payment and it is required before a business opens.
Your business must be located within the City of Orlando limits.

Our online business permitting guide will tell you if you can operate your business at that location. Select "Choose Permits" and then "Business Tax" from the Permit Catalog to get started.
Complete the Application
Our staff will send an email confirmation to you when we receive your application. Within 10 business days, we will send you a billing summary once we have processed your application. It will include payment instructions.
All businesses must have both city and county business tax receipts. The Orange County Tax Collector's Office is located on the 16th floor of the SunTrust Center at 200 South Orange Avenue, Orlando. Their phone number is 407.845.6200.
