Orion Romero - Acceleration Academy East High

Orion fully believes in presenting his genuine self to everyone and upholding the idea of fairness for all. With his constant smile, his presence is positive, warm and welcoming. He is a leader by example among his peers.

In his free time, he enjoys playing football and making music. His community service includes volunteering at the Grove Rehabilitation Center where he helped paint the walls, cut grass, clean windows, grow plants and restock the food pantry to help make the clients at the Grove feel as comfortable as possible.

He is an honor roll student who is actively involved in the Latinos in Action and Yearbook clubs. He even volunteered to become the school mascot – The Phoenix. Orion’s favorite MLK quote: “Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that.”

Future Goals: Orion plans to study at Valencia College and become an entrepreneur.
