Last updated on September 24, 2019
February 28, 2020 – Orlando, Florida – As the world becomes increasingly interconnected and technology dependent, the City of Orlando is exploring ways to put new technology and innovation to use in delivering more efficient and secure public services.
Throughout the month of March, the City of Orlando will host a series of community meetings seeking input from residents in the development of the City of Orlando’s Future-Ready Master Plan. The plan will serve as a guide to ensuring that Orlando continues to embrace new opportunities, address community challenges and make certain that the city remains one of the best places to live, work and raise a family.
Participants will work with subject matter experts across six focus areas, including energy, public safety and transportation, to identify key priorities, projects and initiatives that will help Orlando take advantage of the innovative and technological advances of the future.
The meeting schedule is as follows:
A short survey is available for those unable to attend the meetings who would like to provide input in the development of Orlando’s Future-Ready Master Plan and roadmap. Visit Orlando.gov/futureready to learn more.
