The City of Orlando Seeks Community Input as Part of Planning for the Future of Lake Eola Park
WHAT:
On Thursday, October 22 at 6:00 p.m., city staff will host the first of many virtual community meetings to engage residents and gather feedback as the City of Orlando works to re-envision the future of Lake Eola Park through a new Master Planning process.
Since its renovation over 30 years ago, Lake Eola Park has hosted millions of visitors. It is the home of countless events, both large and small, and has been a key component of the resurgence of downtown Orlando into the vibrant city center that it is today.
As the city looks to the future of the park and in order to incorporate the needs and desires of the community, Orlando is seeking input from residents and key stakeholders to help shape a new master plan.
In addition to attending a virtual meeting, residents can also provide input by completing a online survey on what they would like to see for Lake Eola Park through this master planning process.
