WHAT:
Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer and District 1 Commissioner, Jim Gray 5 will join Tavistock Development Company leaders and area residents for the official ribbon cutting of McCoy Community Park.
Named for Colonel Michael McCoy, the new park was constructed on 25 acres of land and will bring more options for outdoor activities, recreation and green space to the area.
New park amenities will include trails linking to Lake Nona’s 44-mile trail system, baseball and softball fields with spectator bleachers, a scoreboard and lighting for evening games and a center pavilion with a shaded concession stand area and restrooms.
