In observance of Juneteenth, City Hall and non-essential city services are closed Friday, June 19, 2026. Residential recycling pick-up will occur as usual.
Leading up to the passing of the Commercial and Multifamily recycling requirements, the city conducted inspections of over 100 city facilities to ensure a sound recycling program existed and a recycling verification form was submitted. The Green Works team worked with all the facilities that needed a little extra help with setting up their program. This assistance included waste stream audits, consultations and training on best recycling practices.
