Commissioner Roger Chapin was elected to the Orlando City Council in 2025 to represent District 3. As a lifelong Orlando resident, active community member, and business owner, Commissioner Chapin brings deep knowledge and genuine care for the district he serves.
A graduate of Florida State University, Commissioner Chapin has built a career with several Orlando-based companies, including Darden Restaurants and Mears Transportation. Before being elected to City Council, he contributed his expertise on numerous local boards, including the Municipal Planning Board, Downtown Development Board, and Orlando Utilities Commission. His commitment to service also extends to philanthropy, having served on boards including the Orlando Health Foundation and the Cure Sanfilippo Foundation.
With years of experience and a strong connection to the community, Commissioner Chapin is dedicated to ensuring District 3 remains a safe, vibrant neighborhood that reflects the dynamic growth of the Orlando area.
