FDOT 408 EB to I4 Loop Ramp

Friday, January 30, 2026 to Thursday, April 30, 2026

The Florida Department of Transportation provided the following update on the S.R. 408 eastbound to I-4 eastbound Loop Ramp.

  • Beginning Friday, January 30 through Spring 2026, from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m.: Motorists should expect daily shoulder closures from the South Street exit to the S.R. 408 off-ramp for construction work. FDOT encourages the traveling public to drive, walk, and ride with caution and courtesy.

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is enhancing safety on the loop ramp from eastbound State Road (S.R.) 408 to eastbound Interstate 4 (I-4) in Orlando. The work includes installing a new barrier wall, milling and resurfacing the roadway, adding pavement markings, and installing speed feedback signage to remind drivers to reduce speed while navigating the ramp.

This work is part of a larger safety improvement project on the loop ramp from eastbound S.R. 408 to eastbound I-4. For the latest updates and project information, please visit cflroads.com/project/456216-1.

Construction schedules are subject to change due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.

FDOT advises motorists to reduce speed, follow posted signage, and exercise extra caution while traveling through the work zone.
