Multi-Ethnic Services

The City of Orlando is proud to offer a variety of resources and services to multi-ethnic residents and community organizations.

Communications  

  • Inform the multilingual and culturally rich communities of Orlando about city services, programs, and events by offering the city’s Spanish-language communication outlets. 
  • Serve as the Mayor’s spokesperson to Central Florida’s ethnic and heritage-based (use Spanish-language instead) media.  

Community Connections  

  • Act as a point of contact for multi-ethnic residents and community organizations.  
  • Build meaningful relationships and engage cultural communities with city services, boards, volunteer programs, and events.  

Businesses  

  • Support the business sector in Spanish and other languages, by creating awareness and connecting them with Orlando’s economic development assistance programs and services.  
  • Collaborate with chambers of commerce and professional organizations that serve  multi-ethnic groups and professions. 

International Relations  

  • Coordinate and host visits and tours for international delegations at City Hall and in city facilities. 
  • Maintain relationships and collaborate with local consulates and embassies to enhance the services the city provides to global and ethnic communities.
