Pulse Memorial Update: 60% Design Meeting

One of the city’s priorities is to take a collaborative approach to the development of the Pulse Memorial to ensure it honors the victims, survivors and all those impacted by the tragedy. As part of this commitment, the city is providing ongoing updates of key design and construction milestones.

WHAT: 

On Thursday, May 14, the City of Orlando will provide an update on the design of the permanent Pulse memorial as the project has reached the 60 percent design benchmark. During the meeting, the design team will present an update showing the continued progress made to advance the work of the Pulse Memorial Advisory Committee, since the previous 30% design update held on March 5, 2026.

MEDIA PARKING: 

Parking is available in the reserved metered spaces along South Orange Avenue and in the City Commons Parking Garage, orlando.gov/mediaparking. Media should enter through the security check-in on the first floor of City Hall.
