Hispanic Heritage Month Call for Artists

The City of Orlando is seeking local artists to showcase their artwork during Hispanic Heritage Month in the Terrace Gallery at Orlando City Hall. Arts are an intrinsic part of Hispanic heritage, which is why the city annually hosts an art exhibit in conjunction with this important month to further illustrate the richness of Latin American history culture.

Local visual artists interested in being considered for the city’s 2024 Hispanic Heritage Month art exhibition can submit their art proposals inspired by this year’s national theme, “Pioneers of Change: Shaping the Future Together.” Artists should showcase art pieces of Hispanic trailblazers who have left an indelible mark and made outstanding contributions to the wellbeing, prosperity and visibility of the Hispanic community in the United States.

This year’s art exhibition aims to celebrate Hispanic pioneers, both locally and nationally, who have inspired new generations and demonstrate the spirit of innovation, resilience and unity that defines the Hispanic experience.

Submissions must be submitted by August 25, 2024, by 11:59 p.m. The 2024 visual arts exhibit will run from September 17, 2024 to November 3, 2024.
