District 6 City Commissioner Bakari F. Burns invites you to join Orlando Neighborhood Improvement Corporation and City of Orlando Staff for a community meeting about the Piedmont Yard Apartments.

What to Expect:

Representatives from Orlando Neighborhood Improvement Corporation (ONIC) will present the development proposal for Piedmont Yard Apartments, an affordable housing community planned for the southwest corner of Piedmont Street and South Parramore Avenue.

In partnership with the city, ONIC is proposing to construct up to 75 affordable apartments, with a mix of one-, two-, three- and four-bedroom units. All apartments will be reserved for households earning at or below 80% of the area median income, and 10% of the apartments will be reserved for Permanent Supportive Housing for households earning 30% or less of the area median income and include supportive services.

Community members are encouraged to attend to learn more about the project.
