Sunlight drips through mossy trees,
Warmth is carried on the breeze.
Palms sway gently, skies burn blue,
And waves roll in with something new.

Thunder claps, then fades away
Storms arrive, but never stay.
Air is thick with dreams and heat,
Sand and sea where sky and water meet.

Neon lights and beachside bars,
Quiet nights beneath the stars.
Lizards dash and seabirds call,
Life feels endless, after all.

Florida hums a lazy tune,
Of sunrise gold and silver moon.
A land of contrast, bold and wide,
With secrets in her shifting tide.
