Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer to Announce Proposed Changes to Further Help Businesses Open and Operate Safely in the City of Orlando
WHAT: As businesses resume operations under Phase 1 of the State of Florida’s executive order, Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer is proposing several changes to the city code to further assist local businesses and their ability to operate under the new guidelines to help expedite a path to recovery while further ensuring the safety of employees and patrons.
Several of these changes will go into effect immediately and will allow for additional operational and marketing opportunities for business establishments during these difficult times.
Mayor Dyer will outline these opportunities at a press conference on Monday, May 4, 2020 at 11 a.m.

WHERE: Discover Downtown (Information Center) 201 South Orange Avenue MEDIA PARKING: Media parking will be available on the surface lot located adjacent to Discover Downtown. The lot is accessible on Orange Avenue or Magnolia Avenue.
MEDIA INSTRUCTIONS: In alignment with CDC guidelines, you are encouraged to wear a cloth face covering and to maintain six feet of physical distance between yourself and others at all times.
