The City of Orlando is applying for grant funding to add needed infrastructure and new amenities at Trotters Park. Residents are invited to share their feedback on the new improvements on September 17, 2026 at Lakeside Reception Hall from 6 to 8 p.m.
Ideas on the table include development of four multi-use athletic fields, designed to accommodate soccer, lacrosse, and flag football. Each field would feature shaded spectator seating to enhance comfort and usability.
The project also includes the construction of approximately 330 new parking spaces and the installation of a new traffic signal to provide full entrance access serving both Trotters Park and Lake Fairview Park. There would also be new pedestrian sidewalk connections to improve access throughout the site.
