Request the Orlando Fire Department for an Event

Are you a community organization looking to have the Orlando Fire Department participate at your event?

The Orlando Fire Department offers hands-on event workshops, demonstrations and more, to educate citizens and keep Orlando safe.

We offer the following event services:

  • Fire apparatus demonstrations
  • Fire safety presentations
  • Hands-only CPR training
  • OFD explorers assisting at an event
  • Parade participation
  • Participation at a teach-in or a job fair

Keep in mind:

  • Your request must be submitted at least six to eight (6-8) weeks prior to the event date.
  • In the event of an emergency, we cannot guarantee our crews or firetrucks will attend your event. Our units respond to emergencies in real-time and may be called away from your event.
  • We cannot guarantee participating at your event, even if we have supported it before.
  • We do not offer paramedic or emergency medical services (EMS) coverage for events.
  • We do not offer fire extinguisher training.


Step 1.Verify your location

To request Orlando Fire Department services, the event must be located within the City of Orlando. To verify the address, click here. 

Step 2.Check your eligibility

  • Your request must be submitted at least six to eight (6-8) weeks prior to the event date.
  • We can only offer event services for a maximum of two hours per event.
  • We offer event services every day of the week from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. and 1 - 5 p.m.

 Please note:

  • All requests are first-come, first-serve and are based upon availability
  • Due to the high-volume of requests we receive, it may take up to three (3) weeks to respond to your request
