The City of Orlando Breaks Ground on New Park in Creative Village
WHAT: On Wednesday, January 13, 2021, Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer and District 5 City Commissioner Regina I. Hill will break ground on Luminary Green, a new park in Creative Village.
Once completed, this new 2.3-acre park will feature a dedicated area designed to shine a light on community luminaries whose hard work and dedication to the city, especially the downtown/Parramore area, light the way for the community with their legacy.
Construction is expected to be completed in the second half of 2021.
WHEN: Wednesday, January 13, 2021 10:00 a.m.
WHERE: Luminary Green in Creative Village The parking lot at the northeast corner of Terry Avenue and Livingston Street
MEDIA INSTRUCTIONS: Media parking will be available in the parking lot at the northeast corner of Terry Avenue and Livingston Street.
In alignment with CDC guidelines, media must wear a face mask covering and maintain six feet of physical distance between others at all times.
