The City of Orlando Breaks Ground on New Park in Creative Village 

WHAT:  
On Wednesday, January 13, 2021, Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer and District 5 City Commissioner Regina I. Hill will break ground on Luminary Green, a new park in Creative Village.  

Once completed, this new 2.3-acre park will feature a dedicated area designed to shine a light on community luminaries whose hard work and dedication to the city, especially the downtown/Parramore area, light the way for the community with their legacy.  

Construction is expected to be completed in the second half of 2021.

Luminary Green in Creative Village 
The parking lot at the northeast corner of Terry Avenue and Livingston Street  

MEDIA INSTRUCTIONS:  
Media parking will be available in the parking lot at the northeast corner of Terry Avenue and Livingston Street. 

In alignment with CDC guidelines, media must wear a face mask covering and maintain six feet of physical distance between others at all times.
