Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer Celebrates the Downtown Community Gathering Together and Looks to the Bright Future of Downtown with Annual Address
***MEDIA- please note specific media event logistics below for coverage***
On Monday, December 13, 2021, Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer will hold his 2021 State of Downtown Address at the Exploria Stadium in Downtown Orlando’s Parramore neighborhood.
New this year, to celebrate the significance of events like this returning to in-person formats as the community continues to practice safety measures and get vaccinated against the pandemic, Mayor Dyer is hosting the event in a town hall style. This new format will allow for a more personal and interactive event, providing the opportunity for attendees to ask questions about downtown directly to Mayor Dyer to answer.
As in years past, as part of the event, Mayor Dyer will also share the latest on the continued revitalization of Downtown Orlando, as well as plans and advancements for development in the area, economic competitiveness and small business assistance, amenities for everyone, addressing the challenges of housing and helping the homeless, and furthering opportunity through expansions in mobility options.
