Join Keep Orlando Beautiful and 5 Gyres as we celebrate Florida Climate Week with a community cleanup! Let's educate, engage, and act in our community to do our part to make a difference for our environment.
Small actions can make a big difference! This clean up volunteers will be able to participate in community science. Prior to the cleanup download Trash Blitz from your app store and we will be collecting data on what type of litter is found. This helps us to create solutions and act on what we find!
Date: October 10, 2026 Time: 9 - 11 a.m. Location: Eagle Nest Park Once you arrive sign in at the Keep Orlando Beautiful table. We will pass out supplies and go over safety gear at 9 a.m. Please dress for a mess as volunteers will be working outside. Please wear close-toed shoes and bring other items such as sun screen, bug spray or hats as needed. Water will be provided but please bring a refillable water bottle to help reduce plastic waste!
