Behind a line of motel doors on Highland Avenue, something unexpected is always happening.

Faith Arts Village Orlando—known simply as FAVO—is not a traditional gallery. It is a working village of artists. Painters, sculptors, photographers, and makers transform former motel rooms into spaces of experimentation, reflection, and creation. Here, art isn’t removed from daily life. It lives in rooms you can step into. It waits behind ordinary doors.

The Acclaimed Exhibition, presented at the Terrace Gallery, brings those doors here.

This exhibition features acclaimed works by FAVO’s resident artists—creatives who build their practices quietly and persistently within this singular community. Alongside these residents, the exhibition includes local artists who regularly participate in FAVO’s monthly open house events, reflecting the broader creative network of Orlando. Each work is both a culmination and a glimpse: a moment in an ongoing conversation between artist, space, and city. While these works now come together in the Terrace Gallery, they were shaped within the working studios and the shared energy of FAVO’s creative community.

But the story does not end here.

FAVO opens every first Friday and Saturday of the month, 5 – 9 p.m., inviting visitors to wander its corridors, meet artists in their studios, hear music spill into the courtyard, and discover something unexpected at every turn. It is part exhibition, part neighborhood, part living archive of Orlando’s creative spirit.

This exhibition is an invitation. Not only to experience the work—but to discover where it begins.
