5 p.m. – March Madness Selection Sunday Watch Event

Mayor Dyer will join the Greater Orlando Sports Commission and community leaders for a March Madness Selection Sunday watch event to learn which eight men's college basketball teams from around the nation will travel to Orlando to compete in the NCAA Tournament. Games will be played at the Amway Center on Thursday and Saturday, giving a boost to the local economy as more visitors will head to downtown Orlando and the region to cheer on their teams.

2:30 p.m. - Smoke & Donuts Ribbon Cutting
601 North Primrose Drive
Mayor Dyer will join the new restaurateurs of Smoke & Donuts to officially cut the ribbon on its first brick-and-mortar location. Originally started as a pop-up then later food truck, this flagship location will feature one of the largest smokers in Orlando and further add to the vibrant Milk District Main Street culinary scene.

9:30 a.m. - Bezos Academy Ribbon Cutting
Village on Mercy, 1766 Mercy Drive
Mayor Dyer will join District 5 City Commissioner Regina I. Hill for the grand opening of Bezos Academy, a Montessori-inspired preschool founded by Amazon Executive Chairman Jeff Bezos. The city supports Ability Housing and its efforts to increase affordable housing through the community investment program and this new center aligns with the Mercy Drive Vision Plan for the area to create a safe, connected community for all ages to learn, build and create together.
2 p.m. - Greater Orlando Aviation Authority Board Meeting
Carl T. Langford Board Room, One Jeff Fuqua Boulevard
Mayor Dyer will attend the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority (GOAA) board meeting.
