Participate in the Veterans Day Parade

Do you want to be part of the Veterans Day Parade?

We are proud to honor our community's veterans at the annual Veterans Day Parade.

Keep in mind: 

  • Submission of application does not guarantee acceptance. You will be contacted if your submission is approved.
  • Application and entry fee must be submitted no later than Friday, October 1, 2021.
  • New applications received after October 1, 2021 will not be considered.


Step 1.Gather information

You will need to provide the following:

  • Contact information
  • Measurements of vehicles/floats
  • Number of people in group
  • How your organization will like to be announced

If you served post 9/11 and are interested in becoming a Grand Marshal for the Veterans Day Parade, fill out the form above. You must provide your DD214 or other official military documentation to show proof of service.

Step 4.We will contact you

A City of Orlando staff member will contact you with the final decision on your application.

Step 5.Once accepted, submit payment

Do NOT submit payment until your application has been approved. You will be contacted if you are approved.

The entry fee is $100 for non-veteran non-profits, for profit youth organizations, performance troupes and faith-based organizations. No entry fee is charged for veteran affiliates, active duty military, school marching bands, ROTC/JROTC, government organizations and elected officials.
