Bicyclist using the Downtown Loop

The Downtown Gap project will add a sidewalk-level bicycle lane along the south side of Washington Street, from Garland Avenue to Magnolia Avenue, and include at-grade railroad crossing improvements at the SunRail crossing.

This project will complete a 0.5-mile segment of the 8.5-mile Downtown Loop on Washington Street and continues the Gertrude’s Walk Phase IV trail project. It also supports the mobility goals outlined in the Downtown Master Plan Update, DTO 2.0
