The City of Orlando’s Office for Local Assistance is here to make living and moving to Central Florida easier.  Whether you’re a longtime resident or newcomer, our team connects you with more than 100 government and community organizations to help you find jobs, healthcare, educational opportunities, and other essential resources. 

When you visit the office, you’ll meet with staff who can guide you to the right services based on your needs. You’ll also have access to in-house information, computers, and more—all in one convenient place. 

Since opening in 2004, the Office for Local Assistance has proudly assisted nearly 200,000 residents through in-person visits, phone calls, and emails. Orlando is a community that welcomes people from across the country and around the world, and the Office for Local Assistance is here to help every step of the way. 

 

Department of Children and Families in Collaboration with Second Harvest Food Bank's Benefits Program

Puerto Rico Federal Affairs Administration (PRFAA)

  • Assistance in obtaining birth, marriage, or death certificates from the Puerto Rican government
  • For appointments, please call 407.776.9000.

Orange County Neighborhood Center for Families and Adult Literacy League

  • English as a Second Language Classes (ESOL) - Mondays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. until 12 p.m., in-person at the OLA Office.
