Ocean Friendly Restaurant Cleanup

Join Keep Orlando Beautiful and Orlando Surfrider as we celebrate Florida Climate Week with a community cleanup! Let's educate, engage, and act in our community to do our part to make a difference for our environment.

We have several Ocean Friendly Restaurants downtown that are making choices to help reduce single-use plastics here in Orlando. For Ocean Friendly Restaurant Month and Florida Climate Week we will be cleaning up litter downtown then celebrating at the Kitty Beautiful!

Date: October 7, 2026
Time: 5 - 7 p.m.
Location: Downtown Orlando (67 West Robinson Street)

Please a lot time to find parking downtown. There are paid street parking spots or we suggest Jefferson Street Garage, please do not park at the garage next door as it is privately owned.

Once you arrive sign in at the Keep Orlando Beautiful table. We will pass out supplies and go over safety gear at 5 p.m.

Please dress for a mess as volunteers will be working outside. Please wear close-toed shoes and bring other items such as sun screen, bug spray or hats as needed. Water will be provided but please bring a refillable water bottle to help reduce plastic waste!

Throughout the event volunteers are welcome to check out the Kitty Beautiful, up to 20 volunteer at a time in the cat room.
