Florida Classic 2022 Peddlers License Information

  • You must have a current Peddlers License (BTR) to sell anything within the City of Orlando limits.
  • In addition, peddlers participating at the Florida Classic must have the following:
  • A valid City of Orlando and Orange County BTR.
  • For Orange County Business Tax Receipts, call 407.434.0312 Option 2.
  • State License from Florida DBPR (Department of Business & Professional Regulation) for selling drinks and food items. (This can be purchased on site for the Florida Classic).
  • Peddlers cannot be located on city property or within the city’s right of way (street, sidewalk, etc.).
  • The average fee for a peddler is $75.13.
  • Forms of payment: Cash, checks, cashier’s checks, money orders and debit/credit cards.

 

Peddlers License (BTR) can be purchased:

  • Online: Email Business Tax Application and Mobile Peddler Checklist to businesstax@orlando.gov.
  • Subject line: FLORIDA CLASSIC
  • Please allow 2 business days for processing to make sure the BTR is received prior to the event.
  • Once our office receives the information listed above, you will receive a billing summary with instructions on how to make a payment for the BTR.
  • The City of Orlando Permitting Services Office (appointment recommended)
  • 400 South Orange Avenue, 1st Floor, Orlando, FL 32801.
  • Hours: 8 a.m.– 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
  • Extended hours: 8 a.m.– 7 p.m. Nov. 17 and Nov. 18 ONLY.
  • Free Parking in the City Commons Parking Garage, located at 460 Boone Avenue (ticket validation required).

Important Information About Your Peddlers License (BTR):

  • The Peddlers License (BTR) expires on September 30, 2023. (Late charges will be accessed.)
  • The Peddlers License (BTR) is renewed and billed annually.
  • Cancel your Peddlers License (BTR) by notifying the city at businesstax@orlando.gov.
  • All food trucks must be inspected by the Orlando Fire Department. To schedule an inspection, call 407.246.3144.
  • All vendor booths must be closed by 10 p.m.
  • Grease and garbage must be properly disposed of. (There will be grease and garbage bins available around the event area.)
