On-Street Parking
On-street parking options consist of metered and non-metered zones, time-limited areas and free parking. Paid parking options will be designated by signs on or near the parking spot/zone.
Parking meters and meterless zones
Currently, Orlando operates more than 1,200 paid on-street parking spots across the city, specifically in the following areas:
- SoDo Main Street District / Orlando Health Campus
- South Eola neighborhood area (east of Rosalind Avenue and south of Colonial Drive)
- Downtown core (Colonial Drive to Anderson Street; Garland Avenue to Rosalind Avenue)
- Creative Village
Payment is required in these areas Monday through Saturday, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Parking is free 6 p.m. to 8 a.m. Mondays through Saturday, as well as on Sundays and city-observed holidays.
Always check the posted signs for enforcement information, as it may vary depending on location.
We're going meterless
Beginning July 1, 2026, we began a phased transition to cashless parking operations. The transition will continue through September 30, 2026, and the goal is to fully implement cashless operations by October 1, 2026.
During this transition, you may see meter removals, updated signage, changes to payment options and other conversions.

How to pay
To pay for your parking spot, you will need to pay digitally using one of the following methods:
- Download and use the ParkMoblie app
- Text “park” to 77223
- Call 877.727.5714 to pay by phone
By paying digitally, you can extend your parking sessions remotely, have additional payment options and receive a digital receipt.
Before you leave your vehicle:
- Read posted parking signs
- Confirm payment instructions
- Complete your payment transaction
- Keep your receipt or confirmation when available

Using the ParkMobile app
- If you are new to ParkMobile, make a one-time account to make it faster and easier to use the next time you park.
- You will need your license plate number and the ParkMobile zone number
- The zone number will be on the closest sign to the parking spot
- Select your parking time and start your session
Keep in mind
- ParkMobile zone 77001 and all zones beginning with 71 are managed by the City of Orlando. All other zones are not under our jurisdiction or enforcement
- ParkMobile sessions have an additional service fee ($0.35)
- If you have reached the maximum time posted on the parking sign and/or shown on the app, you have to move your vehicle to another block to avoid an overtime citation
- Florida license plates do not contain the letter "O". Be sure to enter the number "0" (zero) instead to avoid potential citations.
