Martain Grant - Oak Ridge High School

Martain is the epitome of Dr. Martin Luther King’s dream. He is an active student on campus where he serves as the founder and president of the Black Student Union, president of the L.I.F.E. Mentoring Group, and president of the Senior Class. Martain never misses the opportunity to lend his hand to make his community better. He often organizes programs that helped to bridge his high school to the surrounding community in which he lives. Because of his countless hours of volunteering, Martain’s efforts have increased his community’s awareness of the change needed to make things better. Martain is a game-changer, influencer, peacemaker, and most importantly, a pioneer student leader at Oak Ridge High School.

Future Goals:  Martain hopes to attend North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University to become a Marketing Specialist or Creative Director.
