Ashala Conway - Ocoee High School

Ashala’s academic excellence is reflected in her grade point average and her rigorous and advanced course work. This excellence is more admirable because she struggles with frequent severe migraines. She is an exceptional AICE student who is projected to achieve her AICE diploma by the end of her senior year. Ashala is consistently motivating her peers and creating activities for her classmates through her participation in Uplift, a women’s group that provides encouragement and opportunity. She also serves on the Principal’s Council where she proposes ideas, concerns, and solutions to the school Principal. In her free time, Ashala enjoys listening to music and designing clothes, even creating her sister’s prom dress and mother’s birthday gown.

Future Goals: Ashala hopes to attend Spelman College to become an Obstetrician.
