The Office of Placemaking manages and activates the City of Orlando’s signature public spaces, including Lake Eola, Creative Village, Luminary Green, Orlando Main Streets and more. This group focuses on creating year-round programming in these spaces, including unique art displays, cultural offerings and seasonal entertainment. They are also responsible for effective daily operations that produce consistent, high-quality visitor experiences and ensuring these signature spaces are accessible, safe, comfortable and welcoming through thoughtful public-space design.
Through these efforts, the Office of Placemaking aims to strengthen Orlando’s identity, engage the community, support economic vitality and create memorable experiences for residents and visitors.
