Register for The Orlando Youth Basketball League and Tiny Tots

Orlando Youth Basketball League (OYBL)

OYBL offers a co-ed basketball league for children ages 4-15.

Registration opens October 5, 2026, and closes January 15, 2027. The season begins January 9, 2027, and plays every Saturday through April 24, 2027. $40 registration fee includes team Jersey.

Tiny Tots Basketball

This eight-week introductory basketball program will provide kids with the opportunity to learn and develop the basic fundamentals of basketball. $40 registration fee includes T-shirts.

Ages: 4-7

Location: Dr. J.R. Smith Neighborhood Center

Tiny Tots dates:

January 9, 23, 30.
February 6, 13, 20, 27.
March 6.

All basketball games are played at the following neighborhood centers:

Dr. James R. Smith Neighborhood Center (Tiny Tots and Ages 8/9)
College Park Neighborhood Center (Ages 10/11)
Northwest Neighborhood Center (Ages 12/13)
Rosemont Neighborhood Center (Ages 14/15)

How Much Does It Cost?

The registration fee is $40 per child and includes a team jersey.

In-Person

Step 1.Check your eligibility

Basketball teams are available for children ages 6-15. Note: 15-year-olds cannot play JV or Varsity High School Basketball.

Step 2.Download, print and complete the application and waiver

Step 3.Register and pay fees online or in-person

Make an appointment for in-person registration at the Athletics' office at 595 North Primrose Drive, Orlando, FL 32803 by calling 407.246.4222 or emailing athletics@orlando.gov

Print and fill out the registration form(PDF, 296KB) and bring it to the Athletics office at your appointment time along with a birth certificate, current physical and $40 fee.

You can register and pay online to save time during your appointment.

The registration fee is $40; no player will be allowed to practice or play if any of the above documents are not turned in and fee paid.

Step 4.We will guide you to your next steps

During registration, we will give you information about your child's schedule and answer any questions you may have. If additional information is required, please contact the athletic office by calling 407.246.4222 or emailing athletics@orlando.gov.
