I am delighted to recommend Yeiner Ramos for the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Humanitarian Award. As his counselor at Orange County Virtual School, I have been continually impressed by Yanier’s dedication to service, academic excellence, and strong family values. In just 1.5 years, Yeiner has completed over 250 hours of community service, volunteering with local organizations and making a tangible difference in our community.
He has strong convictions about helping those in need and especially enjoys taking care of children in AIR CAMP. His commitment to helping others is matched by his academic ambition and as a dual enrolled student, Yeiner must balance rigorous coursework with his service activities.
What truly sets Yeiner apart is his extremely pleasant and kind demeanor. He is deeply family-oriented, and always shows respect and care for those around him. His compassion, humility and integrity are a constant source of inspiration for both peers and adults alike.
Yeiner Ramos embodies the spirit of Dr. King through his selfless actions and unwavering commitment to justice and equality. Based on his remarkably discerning and distinguished humanitarian attitudes, I wholeheartedly and irrefutably support Yeiner’s nomination for this distinguished award.
