The City of Orlando is proud to be known as a world class event city, and each year hosts or permits more than 1,200 special events such as festivals, parades, concerts, film productions, sporting events, multicultural events and so much more.
The Office of Special Events (OSE) serves as the central point of contact for all those permitted special events in the City of Orlando. Working in conjunction with city departments, venues and organizations, the office assists with event permitting, public safety, site mapping, road closures, parking and other operational details including ensuring event producers have the proper licenses and insurance.
This is not inclusive of events held on private properties, hotels, or businesses that do not impact the public rights of way.
