Fall Environmental Community Outing (ECO)

Next date: Thursday, October 29, 2026 | 05:30 PM to 07:30 PM

Looking to dive deeper into local gardening? Already rocking a green thumb and want to explore more sustainable ways to live? Join us for our Fall Environmental Community Outing (E.C.O.)!

Our Environmental Community Outings are welcoming, hands-on gatherings where neighbors come together to learn practical skills like gardening, composting, food preservation, and other everyday sustainable habits. It’s also a chance to slow down, connect with one another, and enjoy the beautiful green space at McQuigg Community Garden.

Our expert staff will share helpful tips to boost your gardening success and lead you through simple DIY projects you can bring home. At this fall’s ECO session, you’ll make your own reusable beeswax food wrap, a sustainable alternative to plastic wrap or foil for storing leftovers.

Please wear closed-toe shoes, comfortable clothing, and remember to bring water.

We can’t wait to grow, learn and create with you!
