Magnolia Avenue Improvements - Phase 1
This project is a redesign of Magnolia Avenue, from South Street north toward Livingston Street, to create a safer, more intuitive and more walkable downtown corridor. This phase will convert Magnolia Avenue back to a two-way street, remove most of the dedicated LYMMO bus lane, integrate bus operations into regular traffic, add on-street parking and upgrade sidewalks, landscaping and overall streetscape features.

Downtown Bike Gap
The Downtown Bike Gap Segment 1 project will construct a sidewalk-level bicycle lane on the south side of Washington Street from Garland Avenue to Magnolia Avenue. It will also make at-grade railroad crossing improvements at the SunRail crossing.

State Road 408 Eastbound from Orange Blossom Trail to I-4
Central Florida Expressway Authority is looking to improve SR 408 between Church Street and I-4. This will include the addition of an eastbound lane between Church Street and Orange Avenue, the redevelopment and reconstruction of the eastbound off ramp, the redevelopment and reconstruction of the westbound exit ramp to Orange Blossom Trail.

State Road 408 at Tampa Avenue Improvement
This project includes the addition of an eastbound lane on SR 408, easing congestion to I-4. Additionally, safety enhancements are planned through ramp improvements at Tampa Avenue, Orange Blossom Trail, and I-4 interchanges.

Church Street Improvements - Phase 1
Phase 1 will include construction between Garland Avenue and the railroad tracks. This project will reconstruct the corridor intoan “Exceptional StreetscapesFestival Street” that modifies the typical section into two, 11 foot lanes, a curbless street flushed with the walkway, semi-pervious street surface, narrow cartway for loading/unloading and space reserved for landscaping.

State Road 15 (South Street) Improvements
The purpose of the project is to resurface a segment of East South Street (westbound) from Crystal Lake Drive to Mills Avenue in Orlando. The project will also upgrade pedestrian curb ramps as possible to comply with current Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards.

Robinson Street (State Road 526) from Hughey to Mills Avenues
Based on the Robinson Street Corridor Study, FDOT will implement the concept to have the two travel lanes separated by a raised median with openings for left turns. Between Hyer Avenue and Mills Avenue, the two travel lanes would be separated by a two-way left turn lane with short, raised medians in some locations.

Magnolia Avenue Improvements Phase 2
Proposed roadway reconstruction along Magnolia Avenue (Livingston Street to South Street) results in a two-way street, elimination of remaining dedicated bus lanes and the addition of on-street parking. Implement curbside and bus route changes along Central Boulevard to support pedestrian traffic. Also, reconstruct the corridor to enhance the streetscape and hardscape. This will also include construction for a Corner Park on Livingston Street.

North Quarter Improvements
Proposed roadway improvements in the North Quarter district along Orange Avenue and Magnolia Avenue, to transition from one-way northbound and southbound travel lanes to a two-way roadway with occasional center bi-directional turning lane for vehicle traffic in all directions. This project also includes improved sidewalk and bikeway facilities for pedestrians.
