Submit Commercial or Multifamily Recycling Verification

Step 1.Check your eligibility

All commercial and multifamily properties in the City of Orlando are required to offer recycling. If your property already recycles, we still need your recycling provider information for our records.

Step 2.Assess your property

Review your property, including its layout, number of dwelling units, current and possible dumpster locations, and the types of recyclable materials generated.

Step 3.Manage and verify your recycling program

If you need to start a recycling program or update an existing one, let us know. We offer free consultations to help you set up a new program. We can also review your current recycling setup to make sure it meets City requirements and update our records.

Step 5.Follow best practices for recycling

• Let your tenants know recycling is available.
• Train all staff on what can and cannot be recycled.
• Make sure all recycling areas have clear signs.
• Provide refresher training throughout the year for staff and tenants.
