Winter Warm-Up

As temperatures drop, a proper warm-up becomes even more important to prevent injury and improve performance.

  • Dress in layers and keep your hands, ears, and joints warm
  • Begin with five minutes of light cardio (jogging, jumping jacks, or high knees)
  • Follow with dynamic stretches like arm circles, leg swings, torso twists, and lateral shuffles
  • Finish with shadow swings or light serves to prepare your muscles for play
  • Keep moving between games to stay warm, and remember to hydrate—even in cool weather!
