Welcome back to another edition of OTC Tennis Talk! We're here to keep you informed about all the latest happenings at the Orlando Tennis Centre.
Welcome to the Team, Damien King!
We’d like to introduce our newest staff member, Damien King, to our OTC family. Damien is a Parks Service Worker who has been working with the City of Orlando for over five years! In his free time, Damien enjoys watching sports, relaxing at home, and coaching youth basketball at the Winter Garden Recreation Center. Damien will be working on maintaining the safety of our courts and is dedicated to ensuring that our facility stays world-class. If you see him on the courts, make sure to give him a warm welcome!
Employee Appreciation Day
The Orlando Tennis Centre is honored to host this year’s City of Orlando Employee Appreciation Luncheon. We’ll be welcoming city staff from across the area to hit the courts with us.
Please note: Our facility will be closed to patrons on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. We will reopen to the public at 3 p.m. for afternoon play. Thank you for your understanding as we celebrate our city team!
Spring Forward this Daylight Savings
Don’t hit snooze and miss your tennis court reservation! Daylight Saving Time begins on Sunday, March 8. Be sure to double-check your alarms that day because we’ll all be losing an hour of sleep. Make plans accordingly and book your courts an hour later if you feel like you’ll need an extra time to rest!
Save the Date: Juneteenth Tournament
We are happy to announce that the Denton Johnson Tennis Corporation and the Orlando Tennis Centre are teaming up again for a weekend of competitive play!
- When: June 19–21, 2026
- Who: Players 18 and older

Rules Corner
Our guidelines are in place to keep the facility running smoothly and ensure everyone has a safe, enjoyable experience. We kindly ask that you keep these rules in mind:
- Check-In: All players (members, guests, and leagues) must check in at the front desk before heading to the courts.
- No-Shows: Reserved courts will be released 10 minutes after the scheduled start time if the party has not arrived.
- Court Cleanup: Please pick up all balls, clear debris, and remove personal items when your play ends.
- Property: OTC is not responsible for lost or damaged personal items on the courts, in locker rooms, or on the premises.
