Bloomberg Philanthropies’ American Cities Climate Challenge Winner

The City of Orlando has been selected as one of 25 American cities to participate in Bloomberg Philanthropies’ American Cities Climate Challenge (ACCC), a program designed to help cities significantly deepen and accelerate their efforts to tackle climate change and promote a sustainable future for their residents.

Throughout this two-year program designed to accelerate city strategies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, the city is being provided with a full-time philanthropy-funded team member, powerful new resources, and access to cutting-edge technical support to help us advance clean energy, green buildings and transportation initiatives and meet our near-term carbon reduction goals.
