Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer Invites Community to Celebrate Earth Month at the Earth Day Work Day Event at City Hall

City’s “Energy is Everywhere” event educates the community on how to preserve and protect the environment

WHAT:
On Friday, April 25, 2025, Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer and City Commissioners invite the community to celebrate Earth Month at Earth Day Work Day at City Hall Plaza along with downtown professionals, residents and community members. This year’s theme, “Energy is Everywhere,” highlights how the City of Orlando is delivering energy efficiency solutions to residents—alongside fun tips and tricks to help reduce individual energy use.

Earth Day Work Day is a sustainability fair in the heart of downtown, featuring educational games, local vendors, live music, eco-friendly giveaways and interactive activities. Attendees can connect with the City’s Green Works team to learn more about initiatives such as zero waste, clean energy, sustainable transportation, water conservation, recycling and other impactful ways to protect the environment.

Earth Day Work Day reflects the City’s continued efforts to enhance quality of life, foster a responsible relationship with the planet’s resources and ensure access to sustainability services for the entire Orlando community. This event is sponsored by the Downtown Development Board, Piedmont Office Realty Trust and Impress Ink.
