Chance to Take a Commentative Church Street Brick Home

Have you ever noticed the personalized bricks along Church Street? If you or someone in your family purchased one, now is your chance to find it.
As part of the DTO Action Plan improvements to Church Street, the commemorative bricks will be removed as the area is renovated. We know these bricks are more than just part of the pavement. They carry names, memories, and messages from Orlando’s past, and some community members have reached out about reclaiming theirs.
So, before the bricks are removed, we’re giving you a chance to find your brick. During the week of October 12–17, 2026, Ambassadors will be on Church Street to help community members secure their commemorative bricks.
Stop by during either of these timeframes:
October 12-16
12 – 2 p.m.
4 – 6 p.m.
October 17
9 a.m. - noon
Once you find your brick, an Ambassador will mark it with your name; you’ll also complete a short form confirming that you’ve identified your brick and providing your contact information so we can reach you when it’s ready for pickup.
A few things to keep in mind:
- Bricks must be identified in person during the designated hours. Please bring a form of ID.
- Identifying your brick does not mean it will be available for pickup immediately.
- Bricks may be damaged during the removal process.
- Individuals who successfully identify a brick will be contacted once it has been removed and is available for pickup.
