2022 State of Downtown

New this year and for the first time ever for a mayoral speech, the address was also simulcasted live in the metaverse. The simulcast showcased Mayor Dyer’s avatar delivering his address to a virtual audience in a virtual environment. This virtual experience was made possible thanks to the Orlando Economic Partnership (OEP), The Metaverse Construction Company, the Central Florida Chapter of the VR/AR Association, 302 Interactive and Engage.
