Established 1996

The capital of the southern state of Paraná, Curitiba has been designated the Environmental Center of Mercosur and the Software Capital of Brazil. Curitiba is a great example of a city that has embraced urban planning and comprehensive transit systems. With visionary leaders and creative, industrious workforce, Curitiba has much in common with Orlando including a central park with swan boats.

With more than 2200 years of history and world-renowned natural landscapes, Guilin is the second most popular destination in China, after the Great Wall. An industrial hub for Guangxi province, Guilin’s top industries are rubber, electronics, medicine and agriculture. Guilin has pagodas located in Lake Fir that light up the downtown scenery, much like Orlando’s Lake Eola Fountain.

Also known as the City of the Mountains, Monterrey is a modern industrial and business center. It is the third most populated metropolitan area in the country. The mountains that surround Monterrey offer a breathtaking landscape and harbor many canyons, trails and roads, crossing deserts and forests. With a renowned convention center, theme park and cultural venues, Monterrey has many similarities to Orlando.

Located adjacent to the capital city of Reykjavik in southern Iceland, Reykjanesbaer is the host city of Iceland’s international airport. Popular activities include sea-angling, whale spotting with the possibility of sighting minke and killer whales, and cruises to the island of Eldey, home to the world’s largest gannet colony. Iceland’s famous Blue Lagoon hot springs, Reykjanes lava fields and the Leira golf courses are only a short drive away.

Located right outside of Paris, Seine-et-Marne was created during the French Revolution. The City is named for the two rivers the Seine and the Marne that run through the region. The City is home to famous cultural and historical sites such as the Chateau de Fontainebleau and the Meaux Cathedral. The greatest connection between Orlando and Seine-et-Marne is the theme park Disneyland Paris located in the region.

A truly historic city, Tainan was the first established capital of Taiwan. As the fourth largest city in Taiwan, Tainan City is home to several high-tech industrial parks. The City has a local airport, great city bus connections and is a stop for the Taipei-Kaohsiung Express Line. Tainan City also features night markets, mangrove natural reserves and a coastal fortress.

An urban area of Tokyo Bay, Urayasu is the host city for Tokyo Disney. The City incorporates both elements of the original fishing village and the more metropolitan part of this modern city. Urayasu has many international visitors and residents. Both the Tozai Subway Line and the Japan Railway Keiyo Line conveniently connect the Central Tokyo and Urayasu City in less than 20 minutes.

Established 2006

Valladolid is the main city of the autonomous region of Castilla y León and is situated in the center of the northern sub-plateau. It is well-connected on a national and international level by a network of dual carriageways and the airport of Villanublas. Its cultural life, present year-round, its traditions, its typical gastronomy, its international renowned wines and its resources make it a province great for business meetings, combining the flavor of history with the latest modern conveniences.
