Shingle Creek Trail


The Shingle Creek Trail, located seven miles southwest of Downtown Orlando, is one section of a larger regional trail that will eventually extend south from Orlando to Downtown Kissimmee.

The trail is twelve feet wide, with asphalt and concrete sections.  The trail currently runs south, from Eagle Nest Park north of Mall at Millenia, to the Orlando International Premium Outlets.

Trail Characteristics:

  • A two mile loop around Lake Fran, offering scenic views of the lake.
  • The southern portion of the trail is suburban in nature and provides a direct connection to the International Drive Tourist Corridor.

A bicycle and pedestrian counter is located at the trail bridge over the Shingle Creek canal between Conroy Road and Vineland Road. The counts only reflect the users that walked/biked in front of the counting device.
