Tierney Pettway - University High School

Tierney is an exemplar definition of the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., as well as his passion for equality and the importance of education. She surrounds herself with a diverse group of peers who share her same beliefs and motivate others to embody the spirit of equality.  She believes that we all can learn and grow by accepting others and encouraging relationships of mutual respect.  Tierney always goes above and beyond to help those that are in need, as well as complete any task she may encounter.  Volunteering daily is fundamental to Tierney as she believes we can all make a difference in the lives of others and in our community.

Future Goals: Tierney hopes to attend Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University, Florida State University, or Stetson University to become a Clinical Psychologist.
