Kennedy Whitley - Edgewater High School

Kennedy is a proven leader and powerful force for progress. She is an excellent and hard-working young person, who pushes the boundaries in every aspect of her life to hugely enrich her opportunities. Kennedy has an unusual maturity beyond her years.  As the president of the Ocoee City Youth Council, she has helped to organize the Ocoee Founders Day, the MLK Parade, and various Christmas givebacks. As co-founder and president of the Black Culture Society, she has emphasized political, financial, and cultural awareness to our student community. Kennedy is a young woman of extraordinary intellectual capacity, she has a clear sense of direction and purpose, and sets a great example for her peers.

Future Goals: Kennedy hopes to attend Spelman College, North Carolina Agricultural & Technical University, or Howard University. Her goal is to be a Cosmetic Chemist to become a founder of her own makeup and cosmetics brand.
