Rose Fyffe - Orange County Virtual School

Rose is the founder and co-president of Gay Straight Alliance at OCVS and is an advocate for LGBTQ students both in person and online. She uses social media to promote events regarding women’s equality as well as youth mental health awareness. She is the host of a weekly tutoring session for Ukrainian teens who are learning to speak English.

A lover of music, Rose studies a variety of forms of dance and is even in a U2 cover band. She loves to read and collect books, especially memoirs, classic literature and romance novels. She also excels academically and is a member of the National Honor Society and International Club.

Future Goals: Rose plans to attend University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and become a research psychologist.
